Ballet/Barre Conditioning

Whether you are training as a dancer, rehabilitating from an injury and or returning to dance after a break or just want to get the most out of your Barre classes for fun and fitness this class will help you grow.

Using exercises with fitness balls, therabands, bosus, rotational discs and any other props that will enhance your learning, this class works on

▪ activating the correct muscles to allow optimum turnout without causing long term damage to knees, hips or ankles

▪ strengthening deep stabilising muscles to improve axis and safe mobility

▪ releasing trigger points and fascia to allow space for better range of movement

▪ understanding the use of efficient breathing techniques to activate stabilising muscles and minimise tension in neck and shoulders, enhancing lines and improving stamina

▪ strengthening legs, ankles and feet to improve balance, pointe work, jumps.
